Why get involved?

The social and economic disparities create bigger consequences on historically vulnerable populations, such as the Afro-descendant and indigenous communities. The proportion of young people from 18 to 24 years old who graduated high school in the Huetar Caribbean region exceeds 60%, but only a little over 20% pursue higher education.

The College Horizons Outreach Program enables the maximization of this population’s opportunities to enter universities and amplify their professional future.

How can I participate?

  • Through collaborative funding for the implementation of this Program in different areas of the country.
  • Your organization can contribute by remote or hybrid volunteering. Some of the educational activities we promote are talks, mock interviews, vocational tours, among others.
